Exciting news, I have done two short runs and everything appears to be behaving. On Tuesday I had an acupuncture session which will hopefully have given my Achilles the final heali gpush it needed, now time to get my body ready for the Jungle in four weeks time.
A friend and I went shoe and hat shopping on Tuesday, we had such a giggle trying on hats, which i didnt buy but did manage to find the shoes which is fantastic?
Drove up to Edinburgh today trying hard to out drive the rain which we managed for a short while as we entered the Scottish border, she obviously knew I was on my way home!
HWMBO Amd I stopped off just off junction 13 of the M74 to say hi to Rory, Jen and Steve who were waiting for the JOGLERS to come through. Saw Rainer which was fantastic, such an awesome runner and a great person, so much running talent wrapped up in one person quite amazing. We then headed towards Edinburgh where guess what, more rain. I was dropped off a few miles from my mothers house to run home testing out the leg. Tomorrow I will run from the house to the Canal, run along the canal then home…..simples!
